Archos Lauches the Android based FamilyPad 2
Do you love tablets, well just don’t say I love the iPad, there are other considerations to look at in the tablet market. Archos announces the launch of the FamilyPad 2 Android tablet. It has a 13.3 inch screen and support 10 point multi-touch input plus a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The FamilyPad 2 comes with built in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and is powered by Dual-core A9 processor clocked at 1.6GHz supported by 1GB RAM and Quad-core GPU Mali 400 MP4 graphics.

Don’t worry about the storage, the FamilyPad 2 is fitted with 8GB storage which also can be expanded via microSD cards for up to 64GB and features a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, with a 2 megapixel rear camera for video and photographs. I know 2 MP is not really much compared to other tablet with much higher megapixels, but still given its fast processor means that you should have a smooth internet browsing and apps experience. The best part which I liked the most that the FamilyPad 2 is equipped with a mini HDMI port, that you can plug it into the HDTV to experience complete Android interface on your TV. You would just love the bigger screen experience.
