Angry Birds hits 8 million downloads on Christmas Day
Angry birds what a game. My daughter loves it so much that she has to play it everyday, but why not, I think Angry Birds is everyone’s favourite You would be surprised to know that Angry Birds was downloaded 8 million times on the past Christmas breaking it’s own record for the Christmas before it, when it was downloaded 6.5 million times. The total includes all Angry Birds games that are available, including the latest Angry Birds Star Wars. Actually Rovio did not share what the breakdown for each specific game was. With 8 million downloads on Christmas Day and 17.4 million new iOS and Android activations on that day, you can figure out that 46% of newly received iOS and Android devices had the game loaded up on December 25th 2012. Good job Rovio.
